Search dialog box
Enter search words and phrases
In the top section of the search dialog box, be sure to enter search words or phrases. Separate words and phrases with blanks; enclose phrases with quotation marks. (See search syntax below for additional details.) If you specify which products to search, the search will be limited to the selections you have made.
Specify content areas you want searched
You also can choose to search the entire business support site or designate the content areas to search. If you want to designate the content areas for the search, select Search only these content areas and mark the checkboxes next to the appropriate content areas.
Designate how you want results displayed
In the bottom section of the search dialog box, indicate how you want your search results presented: - select the number of search results you want reported per page of results
- indicate how you want the results sorted, by relevance or recency of posting
- fill in the checkbox if you want summaries returrned with your results

Search syntax
Business search does not recognize the Boolean operators AND, OR and NOT but instead employs a simplified search syntax based upon the plus (+) and minus (-) operators. Please consult the table below for instructions on their use in our search application.
