Revision History
This contains the Windows 2000 and Windows XP driver and Control Panel for ATI M7, M9, and U1 video controllers.

NOTE:

The driver binaries are the same as in SoftPaq SP26097 (Version 7.96-031113A-012783C). SoftPaq SP26097 was not automatically installing the driver and control panel. SoftPaq SP27431 fixes that issue by revising the INF files, which is the reason for the higher version number.

ENHANCEMENTS:
  • Resolution can be changed up to 2048x1536 under Display Properties, Settings tab.
  • After installation, the Desktop Help window pops up and ATI icon is shown in system tray.
  • Theatre mode is available under the Overlay Tab.
FIXES:
  • Fixes issue where SoftPaq SP26097 was not automatically installing the driver and control panel.
  • Corrects path statement in [DETAILFILEINFORMATION] section of CVA file.
  • Corrects issue where Clone Mode Options button was not showning on the Overlay Options tab.
  • Fixes issue where WinDVD player stopped responding and sometimes generated an error when changing resolution during video playback.
HOW TO USE:
  1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.
  2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
