CM1017 Version 4.0
  • This utility re-directs the HP Color CM1017 scanning software to a new network address as specified by the user.
  • This utility fixes the "Can't Communicate", "Device Not Connected", or "HP Imaging Device Could Not Be Initialized" messages when scanning due to the IP Address being changed in a network environment.
  • This utility fixes the "Failed to read the current destinations from the all-in-one…" messages when trying to setup the scan to destinations on the HP Color LaserJet CM1017.
  • This utility addresses issues with the "Scan to" button functionality when the IP address changes on the HP Color LaserJet CM1017.
  • Restarts the STI service
  • Re-registers the scan driver dll

It is recommended the IP Address of the HP Color LaserJet CM1017 be set for Static instead of DHCP. If it is not set for Static, this utility will need to be run every time the IP Address changes.
