This upgrade of the hp MFP Digital Sending Software provides digital sending support for the following products:

hp Mopier 240
hp Mopier 320
hp LaserJet 8000 MFP
hp LaserJet 8100 MFP
hp LaserJet 8150 MFP

WARNING: Do not upgrade version 2.x of the Digital Sender Module unless you have an hp MFP Digital Sending Software version 3.0 license (Secure Access or Communications). If you are upgrading a version of the Digital Sender Module version 2.x, the Send-to-Email, Send-to-Fax, and NT Authentication licenses, will be converted to 'legacy licenses' but these features will not be functional until a Digital Sending Software version 3.0 license is entered in the licensing tab.

A Secure Access license provides Send to Email and Authentication
A Communications license provides Send to Email, Authentication, and Send to Fax

hp MFP DSS license packs are available as follows:

hp DSS 3.0 - Secure Access
5 mfp license pack T1929AA (option 0AD)
10 mfp license pack T1929AA (option 0A9)
50 mfp license pack T1929AA (option 0AA)

hp DSS 3.0 - Communications
5 mfp license pack T1930AA (option 0AD)
10 mfp license pack T1930AA (option 0A9)
50 mfp license pack T1930AA (option 0AA)

IMPORTANT NOTE: These license packs are cumulative. For example, if you are upgrading version 2.x of the Digital Sender Module and have installed two email licenses, two send-to-fax licenses, and two NT-authentication licenses, and purchase a five mfp Communications license pack, the six legacy license will be upgraded to Communications licenses and the Digital Sending Software will then be able to support 11 MFPs total.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This software is compatible with all released versions of MFP firmware but there may be significant advantages in upgrading to the latest release versions of firmware. Firmware upgrades for the products listed above is available on http://www.hp.com
