This version 1.0.0.2 Mac OSX full software solution provides print and scan functionality. It is the same software that is on the version 2.0 in-box CD that comes with HP LaserJet M1005 mfp's.

This is not a software upgrade for versions of the Mac software prior to 1.0.0.2. If a prior version of the HP LaserJet M1005mfp software is currently installed, it must be uninstalled before installing this version.

To determine the version of the M1005 MFP software that is installed on your Mac, use the Printer Setup Utility. Select HP LaserJet M1005 and click Show Info. The version is listed under "Driver Version".
