The ProLiant Support Pack for SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10 is an advanced software delivery tool. The ProLiant Support Pack does not create diskettes. Before beginning installation, the Support Pack should be copied directly to a separate folder on a test platform. Beginning with the 8.40 version of the Linux PSPs, the deployment utility contained within the PSP has transitioned from the LDU to HP SUM. HP SUM enables support for native RPM files. To launch the installation program, the new command is now ./hpsum and no longer install830.sh. For updates and changes, please see the installation instructions.
