| The HP System Health Application and Insight Management Agents (hpasm) package is a collection of applications, SNMP protocol based agents, and tools which enables monitoring of fans, power supplies, temperature sensors and other management events. This package provides the basic ProLiant server support: The base applications that collect the physical server management data; Foundation and Server SNMP System Insight Manager (SIM) agents that provide the base HP ProLiant server information, and Storage SNMP SIM agents that provide information about the storage subsystem; the SNMP Dynamically Loaded Module (dlmod) for routing SNMP requests to the supporting HP SIM agent; The MIB listing is contained "/opt/compaq/hpasm/addon/cmaobjects.mibdef" and can be used to provide information to other management applications; The web support applications to provide HP ProLiant server management data to the HP System Management Homepage (SMH); A collection of utilities such as the hpbootcfg, hpasmcli, hplog, and hpuid.
