| This SoftPaq contains the HDDETECT.EXE utility used to identify a very small percentage of U320 SCSI Hard Drives that shipped in certain HP ProLiant servers that are susceptible to an unsuccessful write operation.
The HDDETECT.EXE Utility is a Microsoft Windows-based application that is capable of identifying an affected hard drive based on the model number and the corresponding firmware version installed in ProLiant servers running Windows, NetWare or Linux operating systems.
