This package contains a firmware upgrade for the supported HP Optical Drives in
the supported desktop and workstation models and operating systems.
NOTE: This package includes a utility that checks for one of the supported
optical drive models before upgrading the firmware. If a supported optical
drive model is not found, or if the firmware is already current, the firmware
is not upgraded.
The following optical drives are supported:
- HP Model SHM-165H6S-CT2 (Lite-On) (HP Part Number 395132-001)
- HP Model DH-16AYH-CT2 (Philips and Lite-On Digital Solutions Corp. [PLDS])
