This package contains the Altiris Deployment Solution Agent for the supported
desktop models and operating systems.
The Altiris Deployment Solution is a component of the HP Client Management
Solution. The agent is designed to enable software and operating system
distribution on HP systems. This agent is necessary for the full operation of
the Altiris Deployment Solution.
This Altiris Deployment Solution is a 30-day limited usage solution. For
continued service of the Altiris client software, management server, and
manageability software, annual upgrades are required. For annual upgrades,
visit the HP Small and Medium Business store online.
NOTE: This package provides the Altiris Deployment Solution Aclient 6.8.378
SP2. For Microsoft Windows Vista Operating Systems, the agent is called DAgent.
For Microsoft Windows XP Operating Systems the agent is called Aclient.
