This package provides a firmware upgrade that is specifically designed for
certain Fujitsu AL9LX 15,000 rpm SAS Hard Drives in the supported personal
workstation models.
NOTE: The following drive model strings and firmware revision levels, which are
visible with most drive inquiry tools, correspond to drives for which this
upgrade is applicable:
- Fujitsu MAX3036RC HPF1
- Fujitsu MAX3073RC HPF1
- Fujitsu MAX3147RC HPF1
HP does not recommend trying to apply this firmware package to drives other
than those identified in the preceding list.
This package contains a utility that will create a DOS bootable diskette
(floppy), CD, or USB key that will contain all the necessary files to update
the identified hard drives.
