Installation:
Important: The HP c-Class Blade Bundle for Windows contains numerous files. All files must be present in the same directory as the HPSUM.EXE program in order for the bundle to be installed properly.
Installation Method
To update your HP BladeSystem firmware in a Windows environment, enter 'hpsum' and follow the GUI to install the firmware components. The Online Bundle uses HP Smart Update Manager (HP SUM) to deploy firmware upgrades. The latest HP SUM user information can be found in the Firmware CD User Guide. To obtain this file, go to ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/c-products/servers/management/smartstart/ and select the latest version of the FWCDUsersGuidex.xx.pdf.

Note: Even when selected, only firmware appropriate for the system will actually be installed. After installation, the utility will display its results, including indication of firmware successfully installed, firmware not needed for the current system configuration, and any installation failures.
