This package provides the HP Device Access Manager for HP ProtectTools for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The HP Device Access Manager for HP ProtectTools enables administrators to limit data sharing by restricting unnecessary extensibility capabilities of the PC. For example, an administrator can allow USB devices such as a mouse or keyboard, while denying a USB flash drive. Furthermore, exceptions can be made on a per-user basis, as needed.
