Revision History
This package contains utilities that can be used to restore or update the
system BIOS on HP Compaq Business Desktop d330, d338, d530, and d538 models
(786B2 BIOS).

Several methods for changing the BIOS version on your computer may be chosen.
Included in this SoftPaq are the following methods: ability to create a ROMpaq
bootable BIOS upgrade\restore diskette, ability to upgrade the BIOS directly in
the Windows environment using HPQFlash, and the ability to create a ROMpaq
bootable BIOS upgrade\restore CD. This SoftPaq can be used with SSM, HPCMS, or
PXE management software for remote updating of the BIOS.

The BIOS Family and BIOS date can be determined by pressing F10 on the target
computer during system Power On to run the Setup Utility, and then selecting
File/System Information. This information can be saved into a text file on a
diskette or on a USB flash media device by selecting File/Save to Diskette. In
order for a USB flash media device to be recognized by the system, the device
must be attached before the computer is Powered On.
