INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 
WARNING: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR ATTEMPT TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER DURING THE 
UPDATE PROCESS! 

NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended that you perform a system backup prior to 
installing this update.

1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and 
saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where 
the downloaded file is saved).

2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Navigate to the folder that contains the extracted SoftPaq files (the 
default location is C:\SWSetup\SP44676).

4. Copy all the files that are found in the FILES folder to the bootable media 
(for example, ZIP disk or bootable Disk On Key).

5. Restart (boot) the desktop or workstation from the bootable media, and run 
the UPDATE.BAT file. The UPDATE.BAT file launches the utility to update the 
firmware on the hard drive, if appropriate.
