VULNERABILITY SUMMARY

Potential security vulnerabilities have been identified with HP System Management Homepage (SMH) for HP-UX. These vulnerabilities could by exploited remotely to allow cross site scripting (XSS).

SUPPORTED SOFTWARE VERSIONS*: ONLY impacted versions are listed.

HP System Management Homepage (SMH) revision A.2.2.6.2 or earlier running on HP-UX B.11.11, B.11.23, and B.11.31.

RESOLUTION

HP has provided the following patches to resolve these vulnerabilities. The patches are available from the HP Support Center (HPSC)

HP-UX B.11.11
PHSS_36869 or subsequent
HP-UX B.11.23
PHSS_36870 or subsequent
HP-UX B.11.31
PHSS_36871 or subsequent

Note: The patches listed above are for SMH vA.2.2.6.2 only. Systems running SMH prior to v.A.2.2.6.2 must be updated to SMH vA.2.2.6.2 and then the appropriate patch must be installed. SMH versions after vA.2.2.6.2 resolve the vulnerability and do not require not require the patches listed above.
