System BIOS update version F.16:

  • Updates new video BIOS to support 512 MB of video memory
NOTE: A video driver update is required when updating the HP Compaq nw9440 Notebook PC BIOS to F.16. See below.
REASON FOR CHANGE

To allow support of 512 MB of video memory

IMPACT OF CHANGE

For HP Compaq nw9440 Notebook PCs: After updating the BIOS to version F.16, the graphic driver must be updated. Download the NVIDIA Workstation Graphics Driver version 86.33 (SP#33837) from the HP website.
