VULNERABILITY SUMMARY

Potential security vulnerabilities have been identified with Thunderbird running on HP-UX. These vulnerabilities could be exploited remotely resulting in unauthorized access, elevation of privileges, or Denial of Service (DoS).

RESOLUTION

HP has made preliminary versions of Thunderbird v2.0.0.9 available to resolve the vulnerabilities. These preliminary versions have received minimal testing and are localized for English only. The preliminary versions are available for download from the following url:

This security bulletin will be revised when fully tested and localized versions of Thunderbird v2.0.0.9 or subsequent for HP-UX are available.
