Introduction

The HP LaserJet 1005 Series printer is designed to print documents easily. It provides 600 dots-per-inch (dpi) printing at a rate of 14 pages-per-minute (ppm) on A4-sized paper. The simple control panel and improved paper handling make this product very easy to use. It delivers laser-quality printing through a direct (local) universal serial bus (USB) or parallel connection to a computer. The printer can then be shared with other users on a network using Microsoft (R) Windows sharing. All software options are available to network users through this type of networking.

The printer’s main input tray has a 250-sheet capacity for continuous, multiple-page printing. Manual, single-sheet printing is possible through the priority input tray. Both trays are center-justified for all supported paper sizes. The printer output bin holds up to 125 sheets.
