HP LaserJet Printers - Euro Symbol Font Compatibility Information
ISSUE:
The following shows which HP LaserJet printers are "Euro Ready," and how to obtain a Euro solution for printers that do not have support for the Euro symbol.
SOLUTION:
The following HP LaserJet printers are "Euro Ready." They have the Euro symbol built into their character set.
- HP LaserJet 1000
- HP LaserJet 1005
- Most HP LaserJet 1100 printers (models with serial numbers beginning with FRD are not Euro-compatible)
- HP LaserJet 1150
- HP LaserJet 1200 and 1220
- HP LaserJet 1300
- HP LaserJet 2100 (with firmware 19990105)
- HP LaserJet 2200
- HP LaserJet 2300
- HP LaserJet 3100
- HP LaserJet 3150
- HP LaserJet 3200
- HP LaserJet 3300
- HP LaserJet 4000 (with firmware 3.69 or later)
- HP LaserJet 4050
- HP LaserJet 4100
- HP LaserJet 4100 MFP
- HP LaserJet 4200
- HP LaserJet 4300
- HP LaserJet 5000 (with firmware 3.69 or later)
- HP LaserJet 5100
- HP LaserJet 8100
- HP LaserJet 8150
- HP LaserJet 9000
- HP LaserJet 9000MFP
- HP Color LaserJet 1500
- HP Color LaserJet 2500

For printers not listed, the Euro symbol will need to be added for printing in a Windows environment.
