NOTE:

The HP LaserJet Toolbox is only available for the HP LaserJet 1100a products or the HP LaserJet 1100 products with the optional scanner attached.

The HP LaserJet Toolbox allows enabling customization of software solutions such as the following:

Changing the Quick Copy settings
Configuring properties for the Document Assistant
Configuring properties for the HP LaserJet Document desktop
Connecting the network scanner

The HP LaserJet Toolbox also enables the following:

Calibrating the scanner
Accessing the online User Guide

Accessing the online help

NOTE:

The HP LaserJet Toolbox is not available for Windows 3.1x operating systems. However, many of the features within the HP LaserJet Toolbox can be accessed through the HP LaserJet 1100 Program Group.

Accessing the HP LaserJet Toolbox

Access the HP LaserJet Toolbox by clicking the Document Assistant and selecting the Tools icon.

Using the HP LaserJet Toolbox

From the HP LaserJet Toolbox, the following options are available:

Figure 1: Quick Copy settings	Use this option to change settings for copies that are made when pushing the Copy button on the scanner control panel.
Figure 2: Scanner calibration	If problems with print quality persist, try calibrating the scanner.
Figure 3: Document Assistant properties	Click this option to open the Document Assistant Properties window.
Figure 4: Configure Network scanner	The Network Scanner Configuration utility helps to configure the software for scanning over a network.
Figure 5: HP LaserJet Document Desktop properties	Click this option to open the HP LaserJet Document Desktop Properties window.
Figure 6: View HP 1xxx Online User Guide	The online user guide provides easily accessed information about the HP LaserJet 1100, 1150, or 1300 printer.
Figure 7: View HP 1xxx Online Help	Click this option to access the online help.

Click one of the buttons described above, or click OK to close the HP LaserJet Toolbox.
