HP LaserJet 4L Printer - Intelligent On/Off

ISSUE:
Intelligent On/Off replaces the power switch.
SOLUTION:
The HP LaserJet 4L printer goes into Intelligent Off mode after 15 minutes of non-use using only 5 watts of power per hour (180 watts on the average during printing).
The printer powers on instantly when you:
  • send a job to the printer
  • touch the front button
  • open the printer's top door
  • insert paper into the printer

NOTE: If the printer is unplugged or power is completely shut off, the printer's page count will reset to zero. This is because the printer does not contain non-volatile RAM (NVRAM) to store the page count information.
