HP DraftMaster SX, RX, MX, SX Plus, RX Plus, MX Plus plotters - Internal Demo Plots

This document explains how to print internal Demo plots for the:
  • HP DraftMaster SX / RX / MX plotters.
  • HP DraftMaster SX Plus, RX Plus, and MX Plus plotters.
HP DraftMaster SX / RX / MX Plotters
Use the following steps to print internal demo plots:
  1. Load three fiber-tip pens in the carousel and turn the center column until the white pointer lines up with the "P" symbol. The following pen colors are suggested.
  2. Pen Stall 1 - P.3, Black
  3. Pen Stall 2 - P.3, Red
  4. Pen Stall 3 - P.3, Blue
  5. Load a sheet of plotter paper following the normal paper load steps.
  6. Press NEXT DISPLAY button until the Clear/Reset/Demo menu appears.
  7. Press DEMO function button (F4). When the message Start Demo? is displayed, press YES (F3) to begin the plot.
HP DraftMaster SX Plus, RX Plus, and MX Plus Plotters
Use the following steps to print internal demo plots:
  1. Select Demo Plot from the main menu. For the HP DraftMaster MX Plus plotters, use the scrolling keys to specify the user letter and press ENTER.
  2. Press the YES button to start the Demo Plot.
    NOTE: For HP DraftMaster SX Plus and RX Plus plotter users, Demo is disabled in pause mode. For HP DraftMaster MX Plus plotter users, the display shows the position of the demo plot in the queue. The demo plot is drawn with the settings (orientation, for example) specific for the users.
