HP Surestore Interface Manager - DB-9 Serial and RJ-45 Ethernet Pin Assignments
The pin assignments given for the DB-9 serial connection is in reference to the serial port on the remote management card (RMC) in slot 1 of the Interface Manager (IM). Use an RS-232 null modem cable to connect the IM to the host system. Refer to the HP Surestore Interface Manager Installation and Service Guide
for more information.
