What does “limited lifetime? mean?
In the above Limited Lifetime Statement, HP defines limited lifetime as the normal working life of the product. Owing to variations in individual usage, there is no definitive lifetime period that will apply equally to all customers. For warranty purposes, "normal working life" for Travan equates to 5 years or 100 full back ups (FVB) or combination of FVB and Restores (whichever is soonest). Additionally Travan products can be archived for up to 10 years as long as the correct environmental conditions are met as outlined in the HP StorageWorks Travan - HP Travan Media Care document.
