HP Color LaserJet Enterprise/Professional CP4525/CP4025/CP3525/CP5225 Printer Series - Mac OS: Colors Not Matching on Mac 10.6
Issue
Colors of printed documents look much darker when compared with the original document when printed from Mac OS 10.6.
Solution
Modify the color matching
option in the color management options:
To change color management options for printing:
Open the desired document.
Choose File
, Print
(CMD button + P).
If the print dialog contains only two pop-up menus and some buttons across the bottom, click the disclosure triangle beside the Printer pop-up menu.
Choose Color Matching from the print options pop-up menu.
Select the following option:
Do not select ColorSync but select By printer
==> printer will handle color management.
Options can be different from application to application for example when printing PDF file just click advanced options after step 2 ==> then select (let printer determine colors.
