An issue has been identified on the MSA1000, MSA1500 and MSA1510i arrays where degraded read performance has been observed when multiple logical drives (LUNs) are configured to a single array group. The degraded read performance occurs during heavy write utilization of a LUN and simultaneous read access of another LUN on the same array group.
In situations of performance degradation, performance will drop rapidly.
Hardware Platforms Affected: Storage MSA Controllers, HP StorageWorks 1500cs Modular Smart Array, HP StorageWorks 1000 Modular Smart Array
