HP Printers - Mac OS: Disabling Reverse Printing in Version 10.3

ISSUE:
When printing to an HP printer, the last page prints first. This is because of the "reverse page order" option.
SOLUTION:
Changing the order of printing should apply to all documents you print until you close the application.
  1. Open up TextEdit .
TextEdit is located at: Macintosh Hard Drive, Applications . Double-click TextEdit .
  2. From TextEdit, select File, Page Setup . Select the printer name from Format For: and click OK .
  3. Select Print, Copies & Pages . From this list, select Paper Handling .

  4. In the Paper Handling window, a label reads Reverse page order .
    • To print the first page first, make sure this square is unchecked
    • To print the last page first, make the square check marked.

SUMMARY:
Reverse page order printing is a feature from OS 9 which was previously unavailable for OS X until the release of Macintosh OS X 10.3. It generally makes more sense to print the last page first, because the majority of people read first page to last page.
