Introduction

Some colors are not printing correctly. In particular, grays print as greens, and purples print as blues.

Solution

To correct this issue, follow the steps listed below for deselecting the Generic CMYK Color Printer option or the Use Color Profile option in the Print Dialog Box. Follow the instructions below for the version of CorelDRAW being used.

CorelDRAW v 6.0, 7.0

1. In CorelDRAW, select View and Color Correction .
2. Choose the Accurate setting.
3. Go to the Print Dialogue box by selecting File and Print .
4. Deselect Use Color Profile or the Generic CMYK Color Printer setting.

CorelDRAW v 8.0

There are two options for this version, either should improve the color quality.

To deselect the Generic CMYK Printer profile:

1. Click File , then Print .
2. Select the Miscellaneous tab.
3. Select the Set Profiles button.
4. For the Composite Printer, choose None .
5. Click OK , then Print .

To disable the Use Color Profile option:

1. Click File , then Print .
2. Select the Miscellaneous tab.
3. Deselect the Use Color Profile option.
4. Click Print .
