0801 PCI Memory Conflict.

A) Check the configuration. It may be necessary to organize the memory addresses (C8000 through E4000) used for option ROM's and memory mapped I/O as low or as high as possible and adjacent to each other to allow the embedded SCSI BIOS to have sufficient memory space for initialization. It may not be necessary for an embedded SCSI BIOS for each of the embedded controllers to initialize/install if no devices are attached to the embedded controller for which SCSI BIOS will not be initialized/ installed. If the BIOS for the boot device was not initialized and installed, a bootable floppy version of the EISA Configuration Utility can be inserted in the floppy drive to restore a bootable configuration or the system can be power cycled with the NVRAM switch set to clear all current configuration information.

B) Check all system board jumpers and switch settings.

B) If an error code 031x was reported above, replace the SIMM indicated by the error explanation.

C) Run the Diagnostic Assistant.
0804 PCI ROM not found. Some PCI cards generate a "warning" that no PCI option ROM is found. This can cause the Utility Partition software to be launched to display the post-code. Since you cannot fix the condition that generated the post- code, there is no exit from this cycle. A temporary solution is to delete the Utility Partition until a permanent solution is implemented. The Utility Partition can be deleted by using a utility like FDISK.EXE to delete the 8MB Non-DOS partition. Utilities that were previously available in the Utility Partition need to be launched from the Netserver Navigator CD-ROM.

A) Verify that everything you have installed shows up correctly in the configuration. It may be necessary to organize the memory addresses (C8000 through E4000) used for option ROM's and Memory Mapped I/O as low or as high as possible and adjacent to each other to allow embedded SCSI BIOS to have sufficient memory space for initialization.

C) Run the Diagnostic Assistant to test the system board.
0805 Insufficient Memory to Shadow PCI ROM.

Bus 01, Device 0D refers to SCSI-A and BUS 01, Device 0E refers to SCSI-B.

A) Check the computer's configuration.

C) Run the Diagnostic Assistant to test the system board.
0809 PCI Error Log is full. This is a temporary log area that holds up to 15 errors generated during POST. More than 15 errors will result in this error code being displayed. The first 15 errors are written to the Event Log Area for viewing.
